Cryotherapy is a medical treatment that uses extreme cold to freeze and destroy abnormal or damaged tissue, such as skin lesions, warts, and some cancers. The most common method involves applying liquid nitrogen to the affected area to freeze the cells. After being frozen, the cells die and are replaced by healthy cells as the skin regenerates.

How it works
Liquid nitrogen: Liquid nitrogen is an extremely cold substance that quickly freezes tissue on contact.
Targeted freezing: During the procedure, a doctor applies liquid nitrogen to the specific lesion or abnormal cell group.
Cell destruction: The extreme cold damages and destroys the targeted cells.
Regeneration: As the treated area heals, the dead cells fall away, and healthy new skin cells form in their place.
